Welcome
Welcome to Trinity CE Primary School on behalf of myself, our wonderful pupils, hard-working staff, committed Governors and supportive school community.
The whole Trinity family work well together to ensure we are a happy and vibrant school with a caring and supportive atmosphere. There is genuine collaboration between parents, children, the school and the wider community.
The Trinity team has high expectations and standards and a keen sense of being part of a happy, successful school. The supportive ethos within the school enables pupils of all abilities to thrive as they grow and develop.

Our Shining Stars 08.05.26
Our shining stars this week are: Felicity; Ellis; Ophelia and Fionn.
Felicity was chosen because she is trying her hardest to become an independant writer. Felicity is working so hard to sound out words indepently and is using robot arms brilliantly and segmenting words to write short captions. We are all so proud of you, Fliss. Keep up the fantastic writing!
Ellis was chosen for his reading. He recognised all his phase 4 sounds and some phase 5 sounds. He has been working really hard with his reading and moved onto phase 5 books this week. Well done Ellis!
Ophelia was chosen because of her fantastic work in English. She's been working really hard in her final piece - including all the skills we've looked at so far this week. She's done an amzing job to capture the vibe and feel of a city under siege and all feeling and emotions that go with it! Great job, Ophelia.
Fionn was chosen because of his fantastic effort in maths when working on algebra pairs. He showed real determination, thought carefully about the patterns and explained his ideas clearly. Well done, Fionn!
Shining Light Award 21.05.26
For showing compassion, friendship and maturity when helping to de-escalate a dispute between your friends. When you realised that there was an issue between your friends you acted quickly and made sure an adult knew the facts. This kept everyone safe and supported a quick resolution. Well done for being decisive. You are a great role model.
Our Shining Stars 21.05.26
Our shining stars this week are: Willow Class; Teddy; Maddie and Preston.
Willow Class were chosen because they conducted themselves so well on their first school trip with just their class. They showed our Trinity School values throughout the day, were polite to the shopkeeper and bus driver, and demonstrated excellent manners. Their behaviour was exceptional. Well done, Willow Class, you all did so well, and we had so much fun at the aquarium!
Teddy was chosen for his spelling. He worked hard to learn many of the Year 1 common exception words. Well done Teddy!
Maddie was chosen for her fantastic work in Maths. She's done her best to work independently in each lesson and has been looking for ways to help herself instead of instantly asking for help. It's been lovely to see how your independance has grown this week. You've done an amazing job. Keep it up.
Preston was chosen because he has shown fantastic perseverance in maths. He has worked hard to draw lines accurately and has shown real determination when drawing angles carefully. Well done, Preston!
Trinity CE VC Primary School - Parent Communication Survey
We would like to review our school communications.
Your feedback, as the main recipients of school communications, including information about pupils’ progress and achievement, and the main users of the school website and School Jotter App, will be crucial in helping us to improve and streamline our communication strategy.

Shining Light Award 08.05.26
For showing compassion and friendship for another pupil. When you saw that someone was a bit lonely at playtime you thought about how you could help and acted. By leaving the game you were playing with your friends to support another pupil you showed how thoughtful and kind you are. Well done for setting such a good example.
