Welcome
Welcome to Trinity CE Primary School on behalf of myself, our wonderful pupils, hard-working staff, committed Governors and supportive school community.
The whole Trinity family work well together to ensure we are a happy and vibrant school with a caring and supportive atmosphere. There is genuine collaboration between parents, children, the school and the wider community.
The Trinity team has high expectations and standards and a keen sense of being part of a happy, successful school. The supportive ethos within the school enables pupils of all abilities to thrive as they grow and develop.

Shining Light Award 20.03.26

For showing courage in the way you have managed coming to school with your broken leg. You have persevered with using your walking frame to get around school, have got on with all your learning even when your leg was uncomfortable and painful, and done it all with a positive, cheery attitude. Well done.
ASH Class Plane Making Workshop
Thank you so much to all the adults who came to help Ash class with their aeroplane building session last Thursday. It was a resounding success! We now have lots of different aeroplanes of all shapes and sizes, all with moving wheels and axels, displayed outside the hall. I'm really proud of what the children have achieved this term in D&T . Also big thank you to everyone who dropped off recycling for us to work with - it really helped to give the children a variety of resources to choose from. I look forward to seeing you all again next term - Have a lovely Easter break! Ms Mathlener

Year 5 & 6 Football - South West Regional Finals
On Wednesday 25th March, both our Boys AND Girls year 5 & 6 football teams travelled to Yeovil Town Football club to compete in the South West regional finals of the National League Trust Cup. This was a fantastic achievement, after both teams made it through the qualifying rounds earlier on in the year. Although we didn't make it to the semi-finals, both teams competed really well and we are so proud of their teamwork and courage. What a brilliant experience to be a part of.

Shining Light Award 27.03.26
For showing compassion, empathy and friendship. You helped and supported others in your team when they needed it and made sure everyone was included. You acted spontaneously and without being prompted showing that you recognised an opportunity for an act of kindness and took it. What a wonderful example- well done.

Our Shining Stars 27.03.26

This week our shining stars are: Daniel; Flossie; Jack and Freddie.
Daniel was chosen for his fantastic effort in reading. He has shwon great enthusiasm both at school and at home, eagerly practising his skills to become a more fluent reader. Daniel is confidently using his phonic knowledge to decode and blend new words, including those with Phase 3 digraphs and trigraphs. He is also challenging himself to read longer, polysyllabic words independently. All his hard work is really paying off. Well done, Daniel!
Flossie was chosen for her story plan. We are writing a changed story ending and she worked hard to draw out her ideas. She included an idea for an exclamation sentence and used a possessive apostrophe. Well done Flossie!
Jack was chosen because of his fantastic work in RE. He worked really hard on his stained-glass window design representing the story of Pentecost - annotated his ideas and retold the story totally independently. Great work, Jack! Keep it up.
Freddie was chosen because of his excellent attitude and effort in P.E. During volleyball, he has shown great perseverance, listened carefully to feedback and worked hard to develop his skills. Well done Freddie!
