Welcome
Welcome to Trinity CE Primary School on behalf of myself, our wonderful pupils, hard-working staff, committed Governors and supportive school community.
The whole Trinity family work well together to ensure we are a happy and vibrant school with a caring and supportive atmosphere. There is genuine collaboration between parents, children, the school and the wider community.
The Trinity team has high expectations and standards and a keen sense of being part of a happy, successful school. The supportive ethos within the school enables pupils of all abilities to thrive as they grow and develop.

Shining Light Award 08.05.26
For showing compassion and friendship for another pupil. When you saw that someone was a bit lonely at playtime you thought about how you could help and acted. By leaving the game you were playing with your friends to support another pupil you showed how thoughtful and kind you are. Well done for setting such a good example.
Our Shining Stars 08.05.26
Our shining stars this week are: Felicity; Ellis; Ophelia and Fionn.
Felicity was chosen because she is trying her hardest to become an independant writer. Felicity is working so hard to sound out words indepently and is using robot arms brilliantly and segmenting words to write short captions. We are all so proud of you, Fliss. Keep up the fantastic writing!
Ellis was chosen for his reading. He recognised all his phase 4 sounds and some phase 5 sounds. He has been working really hard with his reading and moved onto phase 5 books this week. Well done Ellis!
Ophelia was chosen because of her fantastic work in English. She's been working really hard in her final piece - including all the skills we've looked at so far this week. She's done an amzing job to capture the vibe and feel of a city under siege and all feeling and emotions that go with it! Great job, Ophelia.
Fionn was chosen because of his fantastic effort in maths when working on algebra pairs. He showed real determination, thought carefully about the patterns and explained his ideas clearly. Well done, Fionn!
Shining Light Award 01.08.26
For showing compassion for another pupil and being a great help to an adult. When you saw that a member of staff was dealing with a first aid incident you thought about how you could help and acted. By getting an icepack, without even being asked to, you showed how thoughtful and kind you are. Well done for setting such a good example.
Our Shining Stars 01.05.26
Our Shining Stars this week are: Josephine; Raina; Charlie and Melissa.
Josephine was chosen because of the wonderful under the sea artwork she has created. We worked step by step to build up a piece of art using a range of different skills, such as dabbing with a sponge, ripping paper to create a collage shark, and tearing tissue paper to represent seaweed. Josephine worked carefully and creatively to produce a fantastic final piece, showing great focus and enthusiasm throughout.
Raina was chosen for her show and tell. She talked confidently about her newly hatched chicks to Ash class and then Willow class. Everyone enjoyed hearing about how she cares for them. Well done Raina!
Charlie was chosen because of his fantastic work in English. He's been working extra hard to improve the speed of his writing. He's shown good focus in each of our lessons this week and has done his best to improve the volume of work he gets done. Great work Charlie - keep it up!
Melissa was chosen because she demonstrated a fantastic understading of active and passive voice. During our lesson, Melissa confidently identified the difference between the two and applied this knowledge accurately in her own writing, showing great attention to detail and grasp of sentence structure.
