Welcome
Welcome to Trinity CE Primary School on behalf of myself, our wonderful pupils, hard-working staff, committed Governors and supportive school community.
The whole Trinity family work well together to ensure we are a happy and vibrant school with a caring and supportive atmosphere. There is genuine collaboration between parents, children, the school and the wider community.
The Trinity team has high expectations and standards and a keen sense of being part of a happy, successful school. The supportive ethos within the school enables pupils of all abilities to thrive as they grow and develop.

Our Shining Stars 01/04/2026
Our Shining Stars this week are Max, Charlie, Ottie, Cecily, Abi and Tilly.
Max is Willow Class's Shining Star this week because he has been showing lots of interest in understanding the world during our science lessons. Max was keen to share his knowledge of the season of spring before our spring walk and helped his friends hunt for signs of spring in our school grounds. He was able to identify and discuss buds and blossom growing on trees, dafffodils in the woodland, and how the weather begins to change during spring. Well done Max!
Charlie is Ash Class's Shining Star this week for his writing. We are writing a changed story ending and he used the word mat for inspiration. He included exciting word choices such as 'suddenly' and 'over the moon'. Well done Charlie!
Ottie, Cecily and Abi are Oak Class's Shining Stars for great work in Georgraphy, earing a Stop Disasters Game Badge. They completed the UNDRR Stop Disasters game and saved virtual lives like a pro from a Tsunami. Well done girls!
Tilly is Beech Class's Shining Star this week because of the excellent effort and creativity she has shown in art this term. She has worked really carefully on her collage, inspiried by Derek Gores, and has created a fantastic final piece. Well done, Tilly!
QUAD Kids
Well done to our team of Year 3 and Year 4 pupils who took part in the QUAD Kids athletics event at KLB School last week. They competed against 7 other primary schools and came 2nd, with Connie B being awarded 1st place girl - a fantastic result! The afternoon included a 50 metre sprint; 400m run; vortex throwing and standing long jump. All the children were really encouraging and supportive of each other and showed great respect, humility and sportsmanship.

For showing compassion and respect to your friend. You were supportive and encouraging by happily sharing your own book and reading it together. You even nominated your friend for trying to be independent. Well done for setting such a good example.

Our shining stars this week are: Rose, Louie, Rosebelle and James.
Rose was chosen for her fantastic effort in both phonics and maths. She regularly puts her hand up during lessons to share her ideas and is alwys engaged, showing a real determination to do her best. Rose is also growing in confidence as an independent learner, doing a great job of spotting and correcting her own mistakes, such as number reversals. We are so proud of you, Rose. Keep up the brilliant work!
Louie was chosen for his reading. He recognised all his phase 3 sounds and phase 3 common exception words. He has been working really hard with his reading. Well done Louie!
Rosebelle was chosen because of her fantastic work in maths. We've been looking at adding and subtracting fractions. She's been really focused every lesson, remembering that she only needs to add / subtract the numerators and has been starting to work with fractions that are greater than a whole!
James was chosen because of his excellent engagement in lessons and his growing confidence. He has been independently offering to answer questions in front of the class an contributinh thoughtful ideas.
Shining Light Award 01/04/2026
Sky is our Shining Light this week for showing determination, resilience and hard work. By completing your model plane at home (because you were ill when the workshop took place) you made sure you caught up on your DT learning and could be part of the class display. Well done for having such a positive attitude.
