Bristol Aquarium Trip
Willow class enjoyed a trip to Bristol Aquarium as part of their enquiry ‘What is the story of the sea?’.
It was a wonderful learning experience, which included a guided tour of the aquarium displays and meeting tropical fish, sharks and turtles. The children were very lucky to have the opportunity to feed the fish and to take part in a workshop where they learnt all about what they might find under the sea!
Junk Modelling Workshop and Trip Around Acton Turville Village
Willow Class have had an exciting couple of weeks learning all about our local community.
This has included a wonderful afternoon modelling houses they had designed from junk. Thank you again to all the parents and carers who came in to help out.
We had a trip around Acton Turville to experience where we live and how different people in the community help us and then a visit from a midwife to talk all about how she helps babies and Mummies. It was very interesting!
