Nell was chosen because she is trying her best in writing lessons.  Nell is becoming a fantastic independent writer, she is building on her stamina to write for longer, and she thinks carefully about all phonemes she can hear in a word before writing them down.  Nell is beginning to read back over her previous writing to check it makes sense.  This week Nell wrote a great recount about our trip to the aquarium.  Well done for using the common exception word 'I' throughout your recount.

Abi was chosen for writing a fantastic recount.  She included a clear sequence of events and added interesting vocabulary.  Well done Abi!

Max was chosen because of his fantastic effort and confidence when adding and subtracting decimals with different decimal places.

Rose was chosen for working hard to re-draft and up-level her report on the Multi-winged parrot.  Well done for making using subject specific vocabulary and thinking through each sentence so that your writing flows really well.  What an extraordinary creature!
