Our Shining Stars (10.05.24)

10 May 2024 (by admin)

This week our Shining Stars are; Harry, Lissy, George and Rayven.

Harry was chosen for being a fantastic scientist this week. He has really engaged with our recent learning about under the sea habitats and our floating and sinking lessons. Harry has been curious and asked wonderful questions and even linked his habitat knowledge to find minibeast habitats in our outdoor area. Well done Harry, you have been a science super star!

Lissy was chosen for working hard to use adverbs in a sentence. She was even able to include adverbs and bossy words in some sentences too! Well done Lissy!

George was chosen for his excellent efforts during English. He’s worked hard to ensure that he is focused in every English session and that he’s getting lots of good ideas down. On Thursday he managed to come up with lots of ideas for his arguments in his persuasive letter and on Friday he was so quick that he had time to edit and review what he’d written at the end of the session. He’s been so enthused with his writing – we couldn’t be prouder.

Rayven was chosen for making and transforming a vector drawing from a penguin into a parrot. Rayven used Google Drawings to create her penguin from different shapes and then changed colours/sizes and used rotation to change it into a parrot. The result is fantastic!

Well done everyone!
