This week our Shining Stars are; Gilbert, Harry J, Thomas M and Thomas T.
Gilbert was chosen for trying really hard in our Enquiry lessons. He can recall the five oceans and lots of under the sea animal facts. Well done Gilbert, keep up your fantastic listening and learning.
Harry was chosen for working hard to learn the common exception words. He has persevered and has now started to improve his score. Well done Harry!
Thomas was chosen for being a fantastic helper to many students in the class. When people have been struggling in English, Thomas has been on hand to give others some useful vocabulary – he’s been others with their punctuation and supporting them in their grammar. In Maths, he’s helped others with their independent work, supporting them with their questions when they are stuck. Keep it up Thomas.
Thomas was chosen for his excellent, thoughtful responses to our Enquiry exploring freedom. Over the past few weeks we have been thinking about slavery. Well done for grasping all of the key points, making comparisons and looking carefully at source material. Thank you for all of your contributions to our discussions.
