This week our Shining Stars are; OIiver, Ottie, Amelia and Jonny.
Oliver was chosen for his independent learning in Maths and applying his Maths knowledge well and showing different ways to make the number 7. Well done Oliver!
Ottie was chosen for carefully writing some great words and phrases to describe Rosie Revere. She chose some interesting adjectives and challenged herself with new words. We are so proud of her!
Amelia was chosen for working really hard in Guided Reading. She’s done a fantastic job at trying to expand her answers and give good evidence from the text. She’s worked really hard throughout the week on all the VIPERS targets and has shown a fantastic work ethic, despite the hectic nature of the week.
Jonny was chosen for his brilliant re-telling of ‘The Promise’ from the old lady’s perspective. She sees everything! Well done for original ideas, description and great flow. And your line about the transformation of the city from a derelict place to one of life and colour is superb: “It was as if I witnessed a magic trick in front of my own eyes.” Well done Jonny!
