Well done to the year 5/6 girls who represented Trinity at KLB last Wednesday in the GFSA football tournament. They all played really well as a team, winning ALL of their matches! What a result!
Match report from Sophia – “Yesterday the Trinity girls football team went to KLB to play a tournament against 4 teams: Hilsley; Bluecoat; Bluecoat Stripes and Kingswood. The first 2 matches we played – scores were 2-1 and 4-0 to us! The first match was difficult but luckily we had Katy, our very own Mary Earps, in goal, who made some great saves! Tilly and Mia also defended brilliantly and I scored a hat-trick!
Match Report from Amelia: The first match we played, Katy was our Captain, and she was brilliant! The second match we played, I was Captain and I scored 2 goals! The third match, Tilly was Captain and was excellent in defence. In the last match, Jess was Captain, and a fantastic mid-fielder! Out fabulous goal keeper Katy only let one slide in and then fully locked in! She was amazing! All our teamwork and effort resulted in 1st place!! YAY!
