Our Shining Stars 02.05.20257 May 2025 (by admin) |
Louie is Willow Class's shining star this week because he has been working extremely hard at home. Reading most days, working on his common exception word recognition and completing lots of the home learning mat activities. We especially loved reading Louie's fantastic sword fish facts and hearing all about how he made his clock face. Well done Louie!
Georgie is Ash Class's shining star this week for writing instructions to plan a bean seed. She worked independently throughout and used her plan to help her. Well done Georgie!
Theo is Elm Class's shining star this week. Theo has worked really hard to improve the grammatical accuracy of his work in English this week. He's taken his time, checked what he's writing carefully and done his best not to use too many conjunctions in his writing. Keep it up, Theo!
Jess is Beech Class's shining star this week because of her fantastic exploration of a design artist and for excellent presentation of a mood board when considering her design choices.
Darcy is Beech Class's shining star this week for a fantastic Big Write. She did an amazing job charting how the relationship between Shane, a homeless boy and a stray cat develops. In particular, she brilliantly captured the voice of Shane. Congratulations on controlling the dual narrative so effectively - not easy!
