Today was the official opening of the brand new outdoor-area shelter in Willow. This fantastic building has been a long-time coming, and thanks to the hard efforts of many members of the school community, the new shelter has become a reality. The children were all extremely excited to finally see the shelter being opened for use.
The honour of cutting the ribbon was handed to Josh and Emily – our oldest and youngest pupils respectively. A good crowd gathered to watch the opening, including: members or staff, pupils, governors, parents, FOS and even members of the Rotary Club (who kindly helped with the fundraising for the shelter).
We at Trinity are all extremely grateful to all those who have taken part in fundraising events for the shelter and especially the many organisers who have tirelessly worked behind the scenes on this project. We can’t wait to make good use of this fantastic facility in the many years to come.
